ABOUT

Once upon a time a total history nerd decided to share his love of history and Philadelphia with out of town visitors. Over 20 years later, he’s still at it.

Yo! Coming to Philly? Awesome! Whether visiting Philly for a day or a week start your visit with the best walking tour of Philadelphia’s historic district. For 20 years I’ve been teaching high school history and then showing off Philly and bragging about its history to visitors just like you.

For 90 minutes we’ll retrace our founders’ footsteps and relive their life and times. See 21 sites throughout the historic district, the most of any walking tour, and learn about the history and significance of the city as we pass landmarks like Declaration House, Independence Hall, the Liberty Bell and many others.

The historic district is Philadelphia’s most popular area for visitors, and the perfect introduction to our city and its history. Voted one of America’s most walkable cities by SmarterTravel, Philadelphia is best experienced on foot.

So lace up and let’s get going!

Passionate, knowledgeable, honored by City Council and featured in the news, I'm passionate about Philly and its history so let’s take a walk and find out what makes Philly so historic and totally awesome.

See you on the tour!

"Gotta say…our history is pretty awesome…I mean, why else would my students sacrifice a day of their summer vacation and take the tour?"
